Material information

The string is made from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethene (UHMWPE), a high-performance synthetic fibre widely used in heavy-duty applications such as towing lines, technical textiles, and protective equipment

UHMWPE is:

• Up to 15× stronger than steel by weight
• Around 40% stronger than aramid fibres
• Highly wear-resistant
• Lightweight and flexible

For flow arts, this results in a string that is strong, smooth, durable, and highly responsive during play

Important

Not suitable for fire wands.
Fire wands require a heat-resistant cord. Kevlar can be used, but it wears relatively quickly. Technora (“Shadow Cord”) is a more durable, heat-resistant alternative. Always inspect cords before use for wear or damage
